Installations Apprentice

This role will be working closely with other team members, to provide class leading support to our varied customers during the Installation of IT systems and solutions. The Role is varied, engaging and encompasses a wide range of organisational skills required to help the Installations Team to perform to levels of excellence in all areas. This position will routinely be liaising with other departments within the organisation, especially the Support and sales teams.

Making sure all products have arrived for Jobs

Deployment of Windows Desktops/Laptops

As a pro-active member of the team, you would be expected to help in any reasonable request.

Communication

• Communicating with other teams within the company via telephone, email, in person and Microsoft Teams Channels.
• Communicate within the Installations team clearly
• Liaising with other departments within the business for day to day running of the installations team (i.e., looking through installations ticketing system, organising jobs on Team Plan, liaising with Sales team for licensing and other queries)
• Responsible for own workload and to raise any concerns with Installations Manager.

Systems & Reporting

• Hardware & Software Deployment
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and technology
• Diagnosing problems with Windows and Office
• Creating, assigning and solving tickets via ESP ticketing system
