ESP Achieves Microsoft 365 Solutions Partner for Modern Work

Who is a Microsoft 365 Partner in Sheffield? At the back end of 2022, Microsoft changed their requirements for partners. Previously, ESP held a Microsoft Silver Partner designation (now referred to as a Silver Legacy Partner). Now, Microsoft expect partners in Sheffield and indeed throughout the world, to transition over to their new partnership structure. ESP chose that for most of our customers, the most beneficial track for us to follow would be to achieve Microsoft 365 Solutions Partner for Modern Work.

ESP Projects achieved this new designation in January 2023, meaning we are one of the first Microsoft Partners in Sheffield to gain the accreditation, showing our commitment to making sure that we are best placed to advise all our customers on all things Microsoft Cloud related. Some of the products available on the platform are Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerBI & Mobile Device Management (InTune) as well as the Desktop applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.

What did you have to do to achieve the cloud-based Microsoft 365 Solutions Partner for Modern Work?

To gain the accreditation ESP had to put several staff through Microsoft training courses and exams and of course the people that we put through it all passed with flying colours! On top of this, we had to prove that we have worked with many organisations to deliver solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform, supplying them with lots of different configurations and methods of working.

We had to show how many ‘seats’ we had supplied to Small and Mid-sized businesses and how many of those seats were in use (to prove that we were supplying solutions that were relevant to the customer). This included proving that we had supplied M365 licenses to ‘net new customers’ as well as proving that our customers had applied various levels of service adoption. Because ESP have been working with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft 365 (and indeed Microsoft BPOS) products and services (Office 365 is the legacy term now, BPOS was the term even before that one!) for over 10 years, we managed to achieve the designation in just over a month. I am sure you will agree that it is an incredible achievement and really puts us ahead of our competition in the Sheffield area for Microsoft Cloud Solutions.

How can ESP help me with my Microsoft 365 environment?

If you are an existing customer of ESP and have an IT Support agreement with us, you should pick up the phone to your Strategic Account Manager to discuss how we might help you to increase your adoption of services within the platform. Our advisors have a wealth of knowledge on the subject and can discuss potential projects with you.

If you are not an existing customer of ESP, that does not mean we cannot help, far from it. ESP have onboarded many new customers over the last couple of years and many of those new customers have needed us to first migrate them over to M365 from their legacy email system or platform. We have also helped organisations already utilising M365 to better secure their environment as well as helping them to adopt new products and services from Microsoft’s range. We have even helped with training of staff to make sure they understand how to use the platform. If you want to find out how we can help you to make better use of the Microsoft 365 Platform, check out our Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions page or contact us here Contact Us
