Introducing Microsoft’s New Surface Pro 9

On Tuesday 8th November, Microsoft are launching their new Surface Pro 9.

With this new model of surface there aren’t a lot of cosmetic changes, all these new features and upgrades are internal changes.

The new Surface Pro 9 will be 5G enabled, this comes with the usual variety of specifications that the 8 series and lower had to offer, starting at entry level affordable laptops to high-end specs that really give you a lot of bang for your buck! Below is a list of models that will be available on launch:

Microsoft has announced that users can expect up to 16 hours of “typical use” on the Intel models.

Intel Core i5, 8GB, 128GB SSD

Intel Core i5, 8GB, 256GB SSD – This matches the standard spec we recommend to all our customers with any laptop replacement or new device.

Intel Core i5, 16GB, 256GB SSD

Intel Core i7, 16GB, 256GB SSD

Intel Core i7, 16GB, 512GB SSD

Intel Core i7, 16GB, 1TB SSD

Intel Core i7, 32GB, 1TB SSD

All models come with a shiny new 10 megapixel sensor and provide 1080p resolution with its built-in front Webcam to bolster the image quality of your teams meeting. This was previously 5 megapixel with the Surface 8 so a very welcome upgrade!

The screen size is still 13 inches just like previous models of the Surface Pro.

All the above specifications will require their usual Type Cover and Stylus Pen.

Previous owners of any Surface pro will be aware that a docking station is needed to get more use out of their laptop as they lack ports, this is still the same with a Surface Pro 9.

Surface Pro 9 gives you the tablet flexibility you want and the laptop performance and battery life you need to move through your day — all in one ultra-portable device.

As you can tell from the information provided above, we are very excited for Microsoft’s new release and we’re sure you cannot wait to get your hands on the Surface Pro 9 and give it a spin!
