Access Control Systems

ESP Projects supplies and installs access control systems across the UK.  Our headquarters, close to the M1 in Sheffield means that we can get up and down the country as quickly as possible.

Why Use Access Control Systems?

Access control systems are the ultimate in business security, ensuring that not only is your building locked down to staff, but each individual door or office can be locked down to provide access only to those that need it.  These security systems not only provide the ability to secure areas but also offer excellent reporting capabilities to enable you to find out who was in a particular area of the building at a particular time.  Not only that, in the event of a fire, you are able to produce a list of who is in the building at the time, to enable you to make a good assessment that everyone has exited in a safe fashion – keeping those pesky Health and Safety people at bay!  Compatibility with our CCTV and Alarm systems also means that your entire security system can be interconnected.

Access control systems can be fitted not only to doors but gates & garage entrances, whether new or existing.

The Different Types of Access Control

One of the most common forms of Access Control is a simple Door Intercom, meaning that visitors to your premises can’t simply walk-in without you explicitly permitting them to do so.  This allows your reception staff to both see and hear the visitor before they allow them access to the premises, putting staff safety at the forefront of your business.  These systems can also be fitted with Codes, Swipe Cards and Proximity readers, meaning that staff are able to enter and exit the building without having to contact reception.
