Cyber Essentials – 20/06/23

The next event in our series was held on the 20th June – Protecting Your Organisation – Cyber Essentials was another successful event.  Our aim was to bring business owners together for networking allowing connections to be made and to educate on Cyber Essentials.

Topics covered in this event were:

1) Importance of staff training – turn your biggest weakness into your greatest asset and first line of defence. (and MFA – getting your staff on side)

2) “Essentials” what are the essential pieces of hardware / software to have in place, Patch Management, Spam Protection, Antivirus, Firewalls What are they? What do they do?
